1. Data Collection
To provide our precision learning services, we collect several types of data:
- Identity data: name, academic institution, and study path.
- Performance data: quiz results, curriculum progress, and mistake history used for personalized study plans.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and time-zone settings for platform stability.
We do not collect biometric data or any information outside of what is needed to run the platform.
2. Use of Information
The information gathered is used to optimize your learning experience — adapting curriculum difficulty based on your performance, and sending academic alerts, progress reports, and platform updates.
Leminno does not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers. Your progress is yours alone.
3. Student Privacy
We adhere to international standards for student data protection (such as FERPA and GDPR). For users under the age of 18, we require explicit parental or institutional consent before account creation.
Data anonymization is applied to all research sets used to improve our learning platform, ensuring no individual student can be identified.
4. Cookies
We use small files that exist only to maintain your session state and preferences: essential cookies keep you logged in across browser tabs, and functional cookies remember preferences such as your dark-mode setting.
5. Academic Integrity
Our privacy framework is designed to prevent academic dishonesty. We may monitor usage patterns for signs of automated script interaction or anomalous behavior that suggests a breach of academic integrity.
6. Security Protocols
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. We perform bi-annual security audits to keep the platform secure.
